Must be able to handle a busy medical office and multitask while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor.
Team member will answer the phone, take messages, and transfer calls appropriately.
This job will include checking in patients, entering their demographic information into the PMS, accurately verifying insurance benefits and collecting payment at check out based on those benefits.
Would also like this candidate to have experience as a MA, not required but a plus or willing to cross train in this roll.
Two plus years experience preferred but not required.
Must have a willingness to continue learning and adapt as changes are presented.
This position is typically 7:
45am to 4:
00pm with no lunch break Monday through Friday.
There are some days you will take a lunch and stay until 5:
00pm to allow the evening shift time to arrive and get clocked in.
